Description:
The WhisperKOOL Extreme ti is a high-performance wine cellar cooling system designed for through-the-wall installation. Like the tiR model, the Extreme ti offers efficient climate control for wine cellars, but with a key difference: the controller and display are located on the front face of the unit, meaning you will need to physically enter the cellar to monitor the conditions. This design provides a simple interface, ensuring ease of use when managing your cellar’s temperature and humidity.
When installing the Extreme ti through an exterior wall, it is recommended to pair the system with an exterior grille to protect the unit from outdoor elements, such as rain, snow, and extreme temperatures. This ensures that your cooling system remains protected and operates efficiently, regardless of weather conditions. If the system is installed through an interior wall, you can redirect the hot exhaust air to another location using the Condenser Ducting Plenum Kit, providing additional flexibility in installation and maintaining optimal airflow within your cellar.

At WhisperKOOL, we have created a ceiling-mounted split system evaporator because we want you to experience KOOL without seeing it. Cellar contractors have asked for a design that does not take away from the racking capacity and is virtually invisible in the cellar. Utilizing our Ceiling Mounted evaporator has many benefits: It offers excellent efficiency by drawing in the warmer air, which accumulates at the ceiling, cools and disperses the air throughout the environment, allows for maximum racking space, and is virtually invisible in the cellar. Designed with the highest quality, professional-grade parts for longevity and performance, it also offers ease of installation and accessibility.

A qualified HVAC-R technician is required for installation. Failure to have the system installed by a qualified technician will void the warranty.

The use of the 24-volt thermostat conversion kit eliminates the thermostat normally included with the system and allows your contractor to select, purchase and install the thermostat technology of your choice, including but not limited to Nest, Ecobee, and Honeywell. By selecting the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit, you have acknowledged that the system will not be built with the standard WhisperKOOL control or liquid measuring bottle probe. You will have to source and purchase your own 24V thermostat to run the equipment.
